

Pool frog (Pelophylax lessonae) on a leaf of the yellow waterlily (Nuphar lutea) sometimes called Brandy-Bottle, Danube Delta, Romania. A pool frog is very similar in appearance to the closely related edible frog and marsh frog. These three species are often referred to as "green frogs".
